When To Call It Quits

Naruto is the Hokage, the Elric brothers got their bodies back twice (kinda), and Ash is a Pokemon league champion. Over the years, we have been blessed with some of the greatest shows, like The last Avatar and the Justice League. We’ve seen countless battles and lost a lot of good characters, but what if we’re still waiting for Aangg to fight the Fire Lord; what if we were still waiting for Fuu, Jin and Mugen to find the samurai that smells of sunflowers; would you still be interested in the show? One Piece, one of the big three and still a heavy hitter in the anime and manga world today, has been running since 1997 and has no end in sight. As we reach the end of the decade, I can’t help but wonder when I will get to finally see the Straw Hats retire and see Luffy be named King. I for one, don’t want to spend the next ten years reading a story that started 22 years ago, but I also don’t want a rushed ending with unanswered questions. What is the Will Of D; What’s the source of devil fruits; Who wears that big ass hat? Don’t get me wrong, I still love the show and every Friday I rush to read the next chapter. I just think it’s time for it to end before it turns into Detective Conan. “You Either Die A Hero, Or You Live Long Enough To See Yourself Become The Villain”
